For the last five years I've been reading, and listening, and watching, and reading some more. At first I was focused entirely on healing my gut but, given my age, I naturally wondered into "eating for longevity" territory because they fact is, these topics are integrally related. As we age, our blood-sugar control gets worse and the health of our gut microbiomes matters even more. Our muscle mass decreases, as does our bone density. Hormonal shifts brought on by perimenopause wreak havoc for many women over 40. I could go on! But these are all things we can combat through diet and exercise.
